Pay Range: $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience

Reeds Ferry Sheds®, a leader in the shed industry, is growing again. We manufacture our sheds in our Hudson, NH facilities and deliver and install them throughout New England.
Reeds Ferry® is seeking a motivated, self-directed, team player with a background in architecture or engineering to grow with our company in this new role. The CAD Draftsperson / 3D Modeler will be responsible for building a library of template construction drawings for all of our standard shed styles and sizes. This person will create modified drawings for custom designs for our customers along with assembling permit sets and required documentation for local towns.
Responsibilities May Include:
> Preparation of construction documents
> Creation of template drawing sets – plans, elevations, construction details
> Preparation of renderings and graphics to represent our shed designs
> Researching building standards
> Researching local town building code requirements
> Working with shop & installation crews to improve construction details and develop new designs
Minimum Requirements:
> The ideal candidate will either have at least 5 years professional/on the job, trade school experience, -OR-
> Or a college degree in an architecture/engineering related field.
> Past experience in construction or the construction industry is a plus.
> Architectural license not required but helpful.
> Experience and proficiency with Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD, SketchUP or other 3D modeling software.
> Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat (PDF).
> Experience with QuickBooks and/or Epicor or other ERPs systems helpful but not required.
> Some knowledge and solid understanding of building and construction standards,
> Some knowledge and understanding of construction details, building codes, design-build processes.
> Good communication skills- able to work with customers and co-workers
> Attention to detail
> Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
> A sense of humor. We all work really hard but like to have fun in the process!
