Weathervanes for Tradition and Flair

Many Reeds-Ferry customers choose to punctuate their new shed with a weathervane. It’s the obvious topper if your shed has a cupola, but if it doesn’t you can still mount a weathervane on the roof peak. This decorative element can play a lot of roles: adding a traditional touch, making the look complete, and allowing the homeowner to express their loyalty or passion with, for example, a Labrador retriever weathervane. There may even be a handful of true New Englanders left out there who’ll use their weathervane for its original use: to tell which way the wind is blowing. Imagine that!

Something for Everyone

When you look through our wide selection of weathervanes, you’ll probably have a hard time deciding which one to go with. (If you really can’t make up your mind, we’d caution against adding a second cupola just so you can have two weathervanes: it just won’t look right. But since we’re in the business of selling sheds, we may encourage you to buy a second shed!) We mentioned the Labrador weathervane, but if your best friend is a golden retriever instead, we have that as well. Equine enthusiasts have their choice of horses that are galloping, jumping, or simply trotting, and there’s a variety of bald eagle choices for the patriotic shed buyer.

If you live in the North Country, sheds can stay on point with the representative wildlife, with a bear, moose, fox, or two different whitetail buck designs, while coastal cupolas can reflect their surroundings with a sailboat, dolphin, shark, striped bass, or any of three different options for mermaids and whales. We cover the avian realm quite nicely with the requisite rooster, plus herons, geese, ducks, a hummingbird, and even a pelican. Of course, sports and pastimes are well represented, with a baseball player, a golfer, a motorcycle, and even a glass of wine being poured.

Further Customizing Your Weathervane

Our inventory of copper weathervanes allows for a degree of customization with finishes and accessories. For many styles you can choose between shiny new copper and seasoned verdigris. Some have an arrow and some don’t. They all come with brass directionals and a copper globe for the base. We understand that this abundance of options might make your head spin (you know, just like a weathervane). Rest assured that the Reeds-Ferry team will be right there to help you narrow down the choices to find the weathervane that best finishes your shed’s unique look.

Awesome quality sheds and great customer service! I recently bought a Reeds Ferry shed and have been extremely happy with it. If I ever need a new shed again it will be a Reeds Ferry.
Our Reeds Ferry shed is good quality and it adds beauty to our yard. The staff who built the shed was great and did a fabulous job. I recommend Reeds Ferry sheds.
Just had my new Reeds Ferry shed delivered. Worth every penny. You might find a less expensive shed but trust me, it won't be as good as a Reeds Ferry Shed. Plus a 30 year warranty!
From start to finish, Reeds Ferry was a pleasure to work with. The install crew on Truck #10 were very professional. I highly recommend Reeds Ferry Sheds for both quality and service.
No one else matched Reeds Ferry's quality or reputation, and after experiencing their customer service and the caliber of their installation team, it's hard to imagine any other shed being superior.
